Good to Know
- If you wish to join a tour after midnight, you need to choose the following day (e.g. If you stay in Tekapo on December 31st, the midnight tour on this day is 12:45 AM of January 1st)
- It can get very cold at nighttime in Tekapo regardless of the season
- Please ensure you dress appropriately and bring extra warm layers if necessary
- The stargazing location is a four-minute drive from Lake Tekapo village center, next to the Tekapo River
Meeting Point
Our meeting point is only a 4-minute drive from Lake Tekapo town centre or approximately a 20-minute walk. If you require transportation from our TOWN OFFICE at 8 Simpson Lane to the stargazing site and back, you can add this service during the booking process for $20 per person, or contact us directly to arrange it.
