• Weather conditions in Lake Tekapo’s alpine climate can change rapidly, and as a result, night sky conditions at the time of the tour determine whether our guides run the experience outdoors with telescopes or indoors using our Virtual Reality experience.
• If weather/visibility changes the outdoor stargazing to a customised indoor virtual reality experience with less than 30 minutes of scope viewing time, travellers are guaranteed a refund option of 25% for the affected booking. Please contact Get Your Guide to receive this partial refund.
• Cancellations/Changes are permitted up to 24-hours prior to the start of your tour time.
• The tour is suitable for everyone over the age of 10 years old.
• A pool wheelchair is available upon request. Start times for the stargazing experiences are seasonal in order to ensure the darkest skies
