- Due to the remote nature of this journey, mobile phone connection is limited and it is not always possible to use credit cards or EFTPOS in the onboard cafè. Please bring cash to purchase refreshments. You can also settle your tab when back in reception.
- Wear comfortable, casual clothes and bring something warm too. The tour offers some opportunities to disembark at various points of interest, so flat shoes are recommended.
- All trains depart from the Dunedin Railway Station: Check-in begins 1 hour before the train departs and ends 15 minutes before departure.
- Dunedin Railways offers a wheelchair accessible carriage and lift, available upon request only due to limited capacity. Please email us to request.
- There is parking available at Dunedin Railway Station. Check the website for parking information.
