Good to Know

• The Gondola is located 15 minutes from the city center or a 10-minute drive from Lyttelton Port
• Trams run every 15 minutes and there are up to 5 operational trams (season dependent)
• The tram does not transport you to the Gondola. Take public bus #8 towards Lyttelton from the city bus interchange on Litchfield St which stops at the Gondola base station on the way. Transport costs additional. Free parking available at Gondola, paid parking available in the city centre.
• Please note only some trams are wheelchair accessible from Cathedral Junction and wheelchairs must be no bigger than 600mm (60cm) wide and no longer than 1m in length to fit in the Gondola
• Please note the 10am arrival time mentioned is only an automated time, you do not need to arrive at this time. Please arrive anytime between the opening hours for each attraction

Meeting Point

Please collect tickets from the Christchurch Attractions Booking Office located in Cathedral Junction 109 Worcester St. After that, you can board the Tram at any stop or you can also collect tickets from the Christchurch Gondola Base Station at 10 Bridle Path Road from 10am.
